Description : Born with a vision to represent the ghetto(the birth place of Hip Hop), with a Cooley High vibe, Ghettosoul Jeans Company has revisited the retro look with a fashion forward twist. Our graphic tees are eye catching and compelling, and evoke a sense of belonging. The word on the street today is, It's got to be grown and sexy, but it's got to be ghetto. That's where we come in.
From our bandana tee in black or white, which can be worn with matching bandana(black or white) tied around the head - like Juelz Santana often does, to our MC classic tee, with a microphone strapped at the waist, we keep it ghetto. Our jeans showcase our logo - a symbol of what it means to be ghetto.
Ghettosoul: The logo was inspired by the life of people in the ghetto(the birth place of Hip-Hop). The G represents the ghetto, the S represents the soul in the ghetto. Like an oyster in it's shell, so is the life of many in the ghetto.
When irritants are present an oyster secretes a substance, which surrounds the problem, and renders it tolerable. Over time, this substance hardens and becomes - in some cases - a priceless pearl.
The harsh experiences of ghetto life - in some cases - serve to prepare those with determination and focus to rise above circumstances, and triumph over adversity becoming a star.
