Description : The art of Pietra Dura - the first reference of the art is found in the tomb of Aitmad-Ud-Daula, father of the queen Noorjahan. But this art became popular after the makers of Tajmahal, used it extensively to embellish the wonderful momento of love. Inspired by the Indian tradition of marble inlay art, we at Vardhman Marbles Arts & Handicrafts have created a range of products in different styles. Each of these, in turn, have been inspired by different themes. The marble inlay work, however, integrates each of these thematic styles in the sense that it acts as a common medium for the representation of their respective philosophies.
